What news stories do you tend to gravitate toward when finding your current event story?

    2. I think they are interesting to this class when they are related to someone our age or they are just a really crazy story that we wouldn't hear about in Clayton County Iowa.

  6. I usually like to use the ones that are graphic because the more graphic story's are the better chance that a person can be interested in.

    1. I understand the idea of cool pictures, but what do you mean by interesting as that has very different value to people. Explain that concept.

    2. As interesting I mean something that I want to read more about, or something that the class would think is interesting. Something that we don't here about in Iowa.

  8. I usually look for something that is interesting and makes me want to read more about. Usually something that everyone would like to have more information about.

  9. I love to look at computer links and read about presidents, and many current people from the past. Also I love to look at many books to find out what I really need to know about that link and understand better

  11. I like to look for the ones about violence because there is always something crazy going on in this world. Like people getting shot or POWs. I also sometime like to find stories that can make people laugh makes me feel more comfortable talking to the class then when there is 20 sum blank stares.

  12. I look for news stories that are attetion grabbers. I like when the have little video clips and lots of infromantion. They also have to be interesting or stories that people can understand. They are usually big news stories that are all over the news.

  13. I usually like to look for ones that have something to do with science or technology. Technology especially, because I like to read about new inventions or the advancements that are being made to some of the things that we already have.

  14. I look for the top new stories those stories everyone is talking out that has lots of interesting information or facts that other sites don't explain. CNN is the news site i usually use.

  15. i like to look for the stories that matter the most to people and if peoples lives are at stake and what can happen in just a short minute

  16. I look for the stories that are like murders, because there always surprising or very interesting. Something that people like to listen to.

  18. I look more towards things that catch my eye. That consists of mainly sports, weird facts, and breaking news. I also lean more towards the things that everybody is always talking about.

  21. I look for stories that are on the front page of websites that appeal to me. The website that I go to most of the time is CNN.

  22. I usually look for the top stories on murders or robberies, somewhere a long those lines. It's interesting to see something different each time. You never really expect them, and I always read what the person is going to get for doing the bad things he did.

  27. When I am looking for a current event I look for the titles that sound interesting. I also look for news article that have little clips and a lot of information with it.

  30. I usually look for ones that grab my attention. Either with certain words, or pictures. The title is usually important. If it sounds boring I don't want to read it.

  31. I like to find the stories that have interesting titles or their is something about them that is bazar like a police officer getting 50 years in prison not something you would expect.

  33. I am most likely to go to something that people have heard of, or something to do with someone getting killed or taxes going up on the U.S. My attention goes toward the most interesting ones.
