Mine would be where the little girl was left at chuck E.cheese. i never thought that a mom would do that. and forget her daughter there. i would feel so bad
The national news event that caught my eye this week was the flight attendant lady who is Bipolar and said how she was going to crash the plane before it took off. She forgot to take her pills that day and it went out of control. She could've taken many innocent peoples lives away when they didn't even do anything wrong.
The thing that caught my eye this week was, after 44 years later from when Martin Luther King Jr was shot in Memphis, they finally named a street after him.
Trayvon Martin's shooting case. A Florida man, George Zimmerman called 911 on a suspicious man. He told police he shot Martin in self-defense, but Martin only has a small amount of cash, some skittles, and an ice tea on him. Many people say the Zimmerman was profiling Martin and shot him because of racism.
The thing that caught my eye this week was, a fatal shooting of an unarmed Florida teen. He's in the hands of the state attorney's office. Trayvon Martin age 17, was returning from the convenience store to his father's fiancee house in a gated community in Sandord, Florida, on February 26. George Zimmerman saw the teen and called 911 to report a suspicious man. By the time the police arrived, the teenager lay dead with a gunshot wound in the chest. Zimmerman told police he shot Martin in self defense.
The news that caught my eye this was the guy who shot and injured 2 and killed one outside of a court house in Texas. He shot his 20 year old daughter and her mother because she was the main witness in a trial against him.
The news event I noticed the most was the US soldier who went on a rampage and killed 16 civilians. It was tragic not only because of the civilians themselves, 9 of whom were children, but also for the soldier who likely has mental issues due to combat that caused him to commit this atrocity.
The news that caught my eye for this weeks news was that the fracking of hydraulic gas in New York is a big thing going on. They are trying to get the price for gas companies down. They dont want the gas companies paying a lot for gas when there is a cracking in it. The want to get neutral gas to less stress off of people. Its a big deal for New York.
The news event that caught my eye this week was about the Rutgers guy who was accused of spying and video taping his roommate"s actions with another guy. Dharun Ravi was accused of all counts. He was also guilty of witness tampering, tampering with physical evidence and hindering apprehension. He is eligible to face up to 10 years and deportation to his native country of India.
The news story that caught my eye was, the Rutgers student convicted for a hate crime. Last year, Dharn Ravi was accused of taping his roommate. He posted the videos on the internet. Tyler Clementi, the roommate who was taped, committed suicide after he saw the videos and was made fun of. Ravi could face 5 to 10 years in prison. Its sad when you hear about someone committing suicide over someones stupid actions that wouldn't have benefited anything.
Kony 2012 caught my attention because he kidnaps little kids and turns the girls into sex slaves and turns the boys into child soldiers. He orders the young boys to take a gun and shoot his family. This story has been around for awhile but just this week and the last week the US is starting to make a change for it. The government doesn't think its important enough to make a change about it, so people are starting to buy shirts, posters, bracelets and so on, so it shows how important it is to us. If we make him more popular the government says they will go over there and make a change.
I would have to say the little girl who was only five that got left at Chuck E. cheese, on her birthday. The little girls parents must feel bad for leaving her on her birthday. Who forgets there child at chuck E. cheese.
The news story that caught my eye this week would have to be the girl that got left at Chuck E. Cheese. It surprises me that a parent would forget their child at a public place especially on the kid's birthday.
the story that caught my eye this week, was the girl who got left at chuck e cheese. if i was the parent of the child, if i didn't see my kid leave with the other parent i would call them, to make sure my child was ok, and not just assume that they left with the other parent. i just don't understand how you could leave your kid at such a public place all alone on the little girls birthday.
I would say the bipolar flight attendant was the most eye catching, because she went so crazy, and talked about crashing the plane where there were so many innocent people aboard.
I would have to say that the story about the three-year-old girl being left at Chuck E. Cheese caught my eye this week, I mean seriously, how could you leave your three-year-old girl at Chuck E. Cheese!?
I think the parent that left the girl behind at a Chuck-e-cheese...if you are a parent you should be keeping tabs on your children, ESPECIALLY toddlers. If she didn't notice that child was missing until 9 hours later, maybe she shouldn't be a mother...
the shooting in afghanistan

ReplyDeleteMost significiant thing i saw was that obama finally accepted a oil deal. He declined cananda and finally realized we needed to accept one.
