Discuss what you believe is the best position the United States take with Syria.

  1. I believe that the best thing that we can do is just to help as best as we can and try to hold back the rebels and protesters. Without the help to keep them under control, things may get out of hand.

  2. I believe that helping them get through what they are going through right now is the best for them. They need as much people by their side as possible. They need to be in hands of people that wont bring them down. They need fight what is going on and keep the people living there in good hands.

  3. We should just try to help them out even if that doesn't work atleast we tried I guess more than most other countries would do because were the best.

  4. We should try to use less internet because if we use more internet Syria can run into some major computer issues. We also need to make sure that we always use our computer time wisely and we don't go on computer too much. We can also help our internet by when we are done we always shut it down so we don't waste our power.

  5. i think we should help them if they want us to help them or if they ask for help. I don't think we should go putting or heads were it doesn't belong and have them get mad at us.

  6. Id say the us should stay out of it so nothing is started like a war.

  7. I would have to was we should just stay away from there unless they ask for help and then we would help them out.

  8. I think we should stay out of their way so none of our troops get hurt or killed. If they ask for the help, then maybe we can go ahead with something, but unless they do that, stay out of their way. It's not in our place to get in their violence

  9. I think that we should just stay out of it and leave them alone unless they ask for help because other times when we try to help it just ends up being bad for us in the end.

  10. I think we should only get involved if they ask us to because if we do something to help them then it may cause conflict with syria and we don't need to start anything with them because the U.S has enough problems as it is.

  11. I think that we should stay out of it. We are in enough wars the way it is, and have enough people that died during the wars. If they need our help then we can help, but for now we need to stay out of it.

  12. I personally think that we should stay out of it. It sounds kind of bad saying that, but when you think of all the violence going on, you wouldn't want to send our troops who have already been fighting in a war. If it gets to the point where something really bad is going to happen, then I think we can step in, not that I think it's not bad already. I just think that sending over our troops would cause more problems and we don't need anymore of those.

  13. I think we should stay out of it, unless they ask for our help. We have enough problems as it is. If they want our help, we should help them because it's the right thing to do, but we need to be careful if we do help them. Otherwise we should just stay out of it and deal with the problems that we have.

  14. I think that we should pressure Basher to step down and stop the killing. He should let his people lead. We should pressure for change. But we shouldn't go to fight unless they ask. We should handle this like we did when we helped Libya. Mostly airstrikes and stuff.

  15. I think we should stay out of it. We dont need our guys getting hurt...maybe if they ask for help we could help them, but we have enough problems as it is.

  16. We should stay out of this fight, but if they threaten us or do enough damage we should help. We are 14t in debt be more in debt if we join this war. Help the rebels and destroy the government. Bring in secret forces, so we dont lose many men fighting.

  17. Honestly, the U.S. shouldn't get involved with things across the sea. people wonder why we have terrorist attacks, and things like that. if reporters from spain or south africa came here asking people in a war zone how they felt about the situation i have a feeling more than 95% of Americans would refuse to talk about losing their loved ones.

  18. I think we should try to help without going to war. I think we should just stay out of the fighting part, but we should send help to the innocent people that need it.

  19. I think that we should stay out of it for right now. We are having enough trouble as it is over in Iraq, we should only worry about one war at a time unless somehow the Syrian rebels decide to threaten us or plot terrorist attacks against us we should just leave them alone.

  20. I dont think the U.S. should get involved. We have a lot of problems right now. If people from other countries go there and get killed, I don't think it's a good idea to send people from here over to Syria.

  21. I think for now the United States should keep an eye on Syria. If it starts to get out of hand then we should step in and say this isn't right. We are one of the largest militaries in the world. There is no reason we should sit there and watch innocent people be killed. The same thing happened in world war two, untill Pearl Harbor then we stepped in and said this isn't right.

  22. I think we should stay out of it. They caused this problem upon themselves. If things get a little worse then sure, help them out. We should help them because it would be the right thing to do, but we can't waste the money we don't have on a problem they are causing upon themselves.

  23. I think the United States should just stay out of it and let them handle it on their own. If people from our country go over there and get killed then it would just become a bigger mess.

  24. I believe we should just wait it out and let them deal with it first. We should see how they do and if they are in need and ask us for help, we should. Until now, let them do it themselves. Otherwise, we may end up getting ourselves in the clutter.

  25. we should leave it alone until or if they ask us for our help, if we get into it now we might get in even more trouble then we r now

    ReplyDelete
  26. I say that we leave it alone, cause it is not our problem they started it they finish it.

  27. We should just stay out of it. If we help, we could get into way more trouble than we are already in. Unless it gets way out of hand. Then we could step in and help them out a little.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think that the United States shouldn't help because it's just going to get our people killed in something that is not our problem.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think that we should try to assist them a little, but not to the point where we are getting in the way or to get them to dislike us. helping them wouldn't be such a bad thing as long as we don't start problems between our two countries.

  30. I think we should just stay out of it, unless they ask for a little help. Otherwise, it's not our place to go in and get hurt trying to help them.

  31. I think that we should just stay out of it because it's a civil war. I also feel that if we get involved, it will just put us back in the same position that we were in in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I feel that there is some ways that we can help them, if they want it, and there is ways that we should just stay out of it. It really is not our place to stand, but we are always there to help if they need or want it. Then again, I feel like the best thing is to stay out of it because it really is not our place to stand in.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that we should help them as best as we can. But if things get too personal, than leave it alone.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think we should try to settle thing's down and get involved or take matter's into our own hand's and put an end to it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Though the situation is a lot like Libya, and I'm sure we'll do the same in it (wait till Assad is about to end it, then prolong the war a few months "in order to prevent civilian casualties"), this time I support fighting in Syria because they are an ally of Iran's, and by taking out the current government we could install an ally instead of an enemy regime.

  36. I think that we should talk to them and settle a agrement and do something about it and not just stand and watch.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think we should stay out unless we are asked or if they need our help badly because it would cost a lot of money and their allies could go against us and cause it to be even worse

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think we should stay out of it for now because of all the violence that is going on over there right now. We have no part in that situation so why should we take part in it and end up having some of our military members killed? I just don't think that the U.S should get involved with anything they don't need to.

  39. I think we should just wait it out, and keep our nose out of it for a while. We should see what comes of it, and not get caught up in something we didn't have anything to do with in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  40. If they need any help i will like to help them out

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think we should stay out of the way. They're not coming straight out and saying, "Help us", so we should keep our people here. If they don't necessarily want us there, whats the point in sending people over there and risk their lives for something we shouldn't be interfering with?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't think we have enough info on this subject so I would say play the cards right and try and get to peacfull protesting but if we play them wrong then we could be in another war.

    ReplyDelete
  43. i say we just wait and see what comes out of the whole thing first and go from there

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think that we should just wait until they ask us for help. If we just show up over there and start helping, we might end up in a war that would take who knows how long to end. It would also cost quite a bit and we would have to send more soldiers that we don't have because they are too busy fighting another war.

  45. I think we should just try to help them out as much as we can, if we can.

  46. I think we should remain neutral at this point, if it changes into a official civil war then the United States should give help in the form of food and such. I don't think we should send troops over to Syria because we have enough of our own problems and we can't afford the expense.
