I really liked the Chevy Volt story. It will help the economy out by informing people how great this car really is. It gets 111 miles per gallon! This car can really help out gas prices a lot!
I would have to agree with CJ. Gas prices are skyrocketing and with a car that gets that kind of gas milage it could help bring prices down and help the environment out.
I would have to go with Zach's article. Some guy in Madrid thought to have been murdered, really he just drowned likely because of having to much alcohol.
I still think that the Osama bin Laden story is dominating the headlines. A lot of newspapers are debating whether or not al Queda will attack and whether or not the public will be able to see the bin Laden photos.
I think the chevy volt would be an awesome car to have. If it wasn't to expensive and had a bigger fuel tank it would be the ideal car for anyone. Now they just need to build a diesel one for a pick up.
I think the kid that beat up his mother because she took his iced coffee out of the fridge and drank it is most news worthy. After that he still wanted to press charges on her for stealing. He is now in jail.
No certian article cought my attention... I am just supurized about how many dealt with young people hurting their families just because of stupid things. These people need help, and their just seems to be more and more of them.
I think that the debate of sending kids to school during the summer is a newsworthy article because it would raise a lot of controversy. Although the U.S. is behind on test scores, we could think of other alternatives to help get back on top. We just need to make changes in our school systems.
So far I beleive that the most news-worthy story this week was about how kids have 'tempertantrums' and think it was okay to shot a parent for touching their chicken nuggets. It just says how different and unproper children are....
I think the kid who threatend another student because he would not give him his chicken nuggets. It is crazy that the kid would even think of doing that and the police actually found a knife in the kids bag!
I thought it was rediculous that they made a video game where you can kill Osama Bin Laden. I thought video games were ridiculously violent before but I think this is taking it a little to far.
I have to agree with the chevy volt story, I mean who wouldn't want a car that gets 111 mpg. when gas prices are insane! They should also put them in a price range where everyone could get one. Im predicting that Chevy's profits are going to soar.
I also will have to say that the Chevy volt story is very news worthy. A 111 miles per gallon that is so awesome how it can do that. With gas prices so high and a car that can do that good on gas it's very news worthy.
I think that the funniest story is when the guy called the cops because he couldn't get the drugs that he paid for. i mean why would you do something like that in the first place
I think the druggie who called 911 was pretty funny. How dumb can you get? I would like to know the rest of the story though.. what happened to him? :)
The most "news worthy" article would be the dude that purchased drugs, and didn't get the correct amount. He than used them, and called the cops because he didn't get the right amount of drugs.
I thought the most worthy article was the one that about someone making a video game where you can kill Osama Bin Laden. I think thats crazy and a little bit violent to be honest.
I thought that the article where inspiring messages for Japan were put on lingerie for promotional purposes. The ironic thing is that the lingerie was not for sale even though funds would greatly help Japan's recovery.
I think the one most worthy article is the one where the mom drank her sons ice coffe and the boy beat her up for that! well its his mom kids need to show respect for there parents more kids these days are geting disrespectful and thats not right they are ur parents! Treat them kindly!!
I think the most news worthy story is the one about the video game made for people so that they can actually go and kill Osama Bin Laden. I'm sure the game is very violent but a lot of kids will probably enjoy playing that game.
I believe that once again the death of Osama bin Laden is the most significant news story of the week. An event like this does not become old news quickly, as new information is released every day.
I think the most news worthy article was about the guy who got high and called the cops about not getting the right amount of crack. It made me realize how unintellegent people are about things.
i think the most worthy news article was when a granddad didnt realize that he got the grandchild. He didnt realize that until he got to his house and that was kind of funny.
With being a student I think that the article about having kids go to all around school affects me the most and is the biggest article that caught my attention, with me being a student. I would hate going all year. I can also see how it would benefit with scores because during the summer I honestly don't think about anything with school. When I go back to school I realize I lost a lot over the summer.
I think the most news-worthy article would be the going to school all year round. That would affect all of us kids because that could be us having to go all year round. There are some advantages to going all year round and there are some disadvantages. I don't think I would have that big of problem with going all year round just because we would get vacation time for 3 weeks and that is almost half of what we already have!
I still think that the Osama bin Laden story is dominating the headlines. A lot of newspapers are debating whether or not al Queda will attack and whether or not the public will be able to see the bin Laden photos.
The Osama Bin Laden stories were very interesting. It is a huige achievment in our countries history and it will never be forgotten. All of the families devistated after 9/11 can finnally have peace.
I think news about Osama bin Laden is the most popular right now. There has been a lot of different topics relating to his death in the news this week, and I don't think the death of Osama bin Laden is going to be forgotten soon.
I really liked the Chevy Volt story. It will help the economy out by informing people how great this car really is. It gets 111 miles per gallon! This car can really help out gas prices a lot!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an article in my class, but abbey told me about how some lady drove her car down an elevator shaft. That seemed pretty news worthy to me!

ReplyDeleteI heard an artlice about a kid who drowned while he was drunk. I bet he wont do it again.

ReplyDeleteThe most news worthy articles are the ones with the kids hurting their families.
ReplyDeleteI like the one about the car that gets like 100 miles to the gallon. It can really help save people money when gas prices get really high.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with the chevy volt story, I mean who wouldn't want a car that gets 111 mpg. when gas prices are insane! They should also put them in a price range where everyone could get one. Im predicting that Chevy's profits are going to soar.

ReplyDeleteI think the chevy volt is the most news worthy because gas prices are terrible and it would help with not poluting the enviroment.

ReplyDeleteI think the druggie who called 911 was pretty funny. How dumb can you get? I would like to know the rest of the story though.. what happened to him? :)
ReplyDeleteThe Chevy Volt story was pretty interesting. With the way gas prices are right now, there needs to be a vehicle like this around.
ReplyDeleteThe most "news worthy" article would be the dude that purchased drugs, and didn't get the correct amount. He than used them, and called the cops because he didn't get the right amount of drugs.

ReplyDeleteI think that the most new worthy article was the killing of Osama Bin Laden again. It was a huge deal and people will remember it forever.
ReplyDeletei think the most worthy news article was when a granddad didnt realize that he got the grandchild. He didnt realize that until he got to his house and that was kind of funny.
